China Import & Export Enterprises Conference (CIEEC) was initiated in 2002. In January 2003, its organization committee was set up and the first annual conference was convened in the same period, which won the wide support from various ministries and commissions of the Central Government as well as international business, trade and financial organizations and attracted the extensive attention from China enterprises and even the enterprises in Asia-Pacific area. Since 2003, the annual conference has been convened regularly in Beijing.

CIEEC is a high-level, large-scale and authoritative business conference in China's foreign trade sector. And it has been listed into the ministerial level conferences of the Ministry of Commerce; through many years of endeavor, it has become an authoritative platform for government authorities, import & export administrations of local governments, import & export enterprises, industry experts as well as foreign trade research institutions both at home and abroad to probe into the situation and development trend of China's foreign trade, policy changes and dynamic international market situation. In addition, it is committed to serving the internationalization of China enterprises through further integrating regional economic resources.
